Ingredients
- 2 sirloin steaks (8 oz each)
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 2 cups roasted redskin potatoes
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt, pepper, garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat potatoes per package. Season steaks generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder.
- Heat cast iron skillet over high heat; sear steaks 3–4 min per side for medium.
- Rest steaks 5 min; top with garlic butter (mix softened butter + garlic).
- In same skillet, cook asparagus 3–4 min until tender-crisp.
- Serve steak over potatoes with asparagus.
Easy Swaps
Swap steak for flat iron or Denver cut; use sweet potato fries instead of potatoes; add garlic butter.
